The Interspecifics project officially begins with the ECAS residency and its first host Cimatics in the beautiful Brussels. Most of our activities take place within the Forest area with Duden Park as the bridge we have to cross daily on our way from the laboratory to the department.

Bains Connective is the space for our temporary studio and where the first stage of the project is set to develop. After a few months working under several lines of research dealing with issues such as bioelectronics and, process design and development of modular synthesis, we decided to start this week working on the design of some oscillators. The first idea is to build a module that will help us to experiment with ‘clocking’ processes from biological organisms.
